Giles County Film Office - Internships Available

Looking for old houses

The Giles County Film Office is looking for abandoned or isolated cabins and houses for two seperate independent film producers. If you know of a location that meets this need, please leave the site location, owner name and phone number with Susan Kidd at the County Administration Building. "Please clear the referral of this cabin or home with the owner prior to suggesting it," stated Brogan Dinger, Giles Film Office representative. "The owner must be willing to grant access to the property for photographing, filming and recording. Even if the site is not selected at this particular time, it will be photographed for the location library," Dinger concluded. The farm house above is located in Pearisburg and is one of the locations that Dinger has listed with the VA Film Office. Read more here
