Refer to the Rich Creek-Peterstown Map. From Virginia, take US-460 to Rich Creek. Turn onto US-219. Travel on this road to the Giles-Monroe border. Go 0.1 miles, and turn left onto Highway 12. Travel 1.1 miles, and turn left onto Bozoo Road. Now refer to the Bozoo Area Map. Go 4.6 miles and bear left onto Shanklins Ferry Road. Go 2.0 miles, and bear left at the sign with a fish and hook. Travel 0.85 miles to the traffic triangle.

Bear right at the triangle to go to Lower Shanklin's Ferry Ramp and campsites 1-20. Travel to the end of this road.(appx. 0.7 miles)

Bear left at the trianlge to go to Upper Shanklin's Ferry Ramp and campsites 21-80. From the triangle, travel 1 mile to the camp entrance. Travel another 2.1 miles to get to the upper boat landing.
