- The Town of Glen Lyn is located on the Virginia - West Virginia boarder of Giles County. Host of The Annual Henry Reed Memorial Fiddler's Convention and the Annual Horse show. The Glen Lyn park also host a flea market every weekend during the summer and fall.

- Narrows is home to The Celanese Corporation which employs the greatest number of residents in Giles County. Among the many attractions in Narrows are the Narrows Town Park ("The Boom"), Camp Success Park and the Narrows Recreation Department.
